Hi Everyone.
I need some advice please. I've an Avril trained Normandy Cob. She's quite big at 16.1 and I'm looking to swap my trailer for a horsebox. She travels ok in the trailer - just think horsebox will be more comfortable for her and me! A friend and I have seen one but can't decide if it's a little on the short side in the horse area. It's a 2 horse forward facing 6.5t with 8'7" of internal length and a breast bar that is adjustable. Most boxes I've seen on the web are 9' with some at 9'6". It's not easy measuring the length of a horse but Coco seems to be 8'6". Sounds a bit tight although its plenty wide enough so hay will be to one side. Has anyone got any views that might help us decide, or experience travelling one of these big girls!!
Thanks
Gilly
