Hello. My name is Annabelle and I have joined this forum to keep myself in the loop of what horses may be coming up for sale as after a long partnership of 14 years (longer than my 1st marriage I might add!) my horse I have had to retire due to her chronic copd and hind lameness and the thought start of starting all over again is terrifying in the quest for a new equine partner.
I have owned a n ex RDA horse Tinkerbell and Tzara my welshie who is now retired were and are the most lovely natured and I hope I can replicate this again, I had a little flirtation with Spanish horses but tbh, I found them too hot for me as I am looking for a horse who is like a giant dog if such a thing exists! I look forward to chatting with you!

Hi Annabelle - welcome! What a shame that your horse is having to retire, but great that you are looking to continue riding Your horses sound lovely. Show us some pictures! I own Anakin, and have done for 5 years. He is turning 6 in June (where does the time go?!) and is doing really well under saddle. I first backed him 2 years ago as a 4 year old, but he was then rested due to a huge growth spurt (and a baby brain!). I then began re-starting him last year but due to ill health (on my part) he had another extensive break, which to be honest didn't do him any harm as he continued to grow some more and fill out. He has been back in work for the whole of this year and we are off to his first summer camp in July where he will do all sorts of fun things including cross country and flatwork lessons with lots of other horses (could be interesting)!! Hope you have fun on the board x
