Very sad indeed ... hopefully Team GBs success, without use of this method, will encourage people to think differently about training their horses, and prevent this abuse, at least for some!

and, unbelievably the IOC are threatening legal action over undercover recordings taken in the warm-up/training area. saying that they own all the rights to filming at 2012. Heather Moffett also sums up her feelings on the lack of action by the FEI quite succinctly. " The FEI are a bunch of lily livered cowards, ruled by a scruffy little Dutchman who seems to have a might hold over the lot of them. I would like to kick the lot into next week and replace them with a committee with balls, ones who have the courage of their convictions to actually uphold the perfectly valid rules of their own organisation, instead of flouting them disgracefully. Upholding those rules would solve this situation instantly." Of course, some of the worst transgressors are .......................... Dutch!!

Hear, hear! Thumbs up to Heather Moffett for the courage to speak up against so called experts and professionals. MSC will continue to support the ban, here is a link to Causes if you would like to add to the growing army of horse lovers who are disgusted at this practise where winning is above and beyond welfare considerations for the horse: www.causes.com/causes/389159-ban-rollkur-save-our-equines

I'm going to see Heather on Sunday week as she's doing a classical riding demo at my local RDA centre, just a few miles from me. Should be good!

All's well, thank you Sarah Cracker disappeared on our walk today and I had other dog walkers looking for him - I eventually found him trotting up the road when I got into my car and started driving round the lanes. I don't know what happened as he usually sticks to me like glue! I put it down to his old age!! Doggy dementia, I think!

That should be a great day, Liz, and very informative. Classical riding is not nearly as well known and practiced as it should be. Looking foward to details of the event.
