Hello everyone
I have just read the Sula post (I'm gradually getting through them all on the forum) and I so enjoyed the story. So like Coco in many ways it made me laugh. Coco still tries it on even after 10 months and, like Sula, needs a kind but firm hand on occasions. Then I got to the last page and found the fabulous photos of Sula. I showed them to my husband and he did a double take - so like Coco it was uncanny! I thought I would try to add one here of Coco in the snow last week. Out naked for a couple of hours as she is currently quite hairy. She had the whole field so she stood right by the fence! This was just after a long and vigorous role in the snow. Not a crystal clear photo - sorry.
I was lucky enough to take part in another mock hunt recently. She was really very fired up for this one (for Coco that is!) and stayed the whole course. Here she is in action. I'm afraid I do look rather rigid and terrified on top - there were odd moments I must admit as there were over 100 of us and I'm not sure I could have stopped her at some points if I had wanted. But I now feel I can trust Coco to do the right thing. The right thing in my case is NOT to join the others over the jumps. But she really is an angel in company - I'm very lucky. Sadly, I'm still rubbish in the school but you can't have everything. I asked my instructor to school her for me. She said "she doesn't need schooling - she can do it already.!"
I'm on one of Avril's foundation courses on 21st April which I greatly looking forward to.
