Dear All, I would like to introduce Badger, my loan pony - well, part-loan pony as the rest of the time he works hard in a riding school teaching adults and children how to ride - he's 15hh and about 12-13 years old and he makes me very happy . The first picture is of him in his native habitat, and his more usual beige colour, having a good scratch last summer; the second is us on our way to coming second in our first unaffiliated dressage competition and looking unnaturally clean; and the third is us on our way to winning our first rosette in 2'3" clear round show jumping (see my post under Mina for more on the last two events ):

Badger looks a very useful sort. I used to ride a riding school horse with a similar coping strategy, she could be a real cow. However, put her in front of a jump and she was an animal transformed. I too managed a clear round on her but unlucky for me there was a optimum time to complete the course. We went round a breakneck speed and incurred the most penalty points for going too fast! The mare knew what she was doing, I just had to steer her around the course, what fun! Enjoy your new horse,
