MandyMoo here. I am a total novice, though I used to ride about 30 years ago, and god knows why, I gave it up. But started again a couple of years ago. I bought my first horse last June (a 50th birthday pressie to myself) as I thought if I didn't do it then I never would. He is a lovely chap, and has given me so much pleasure since I've had him. I am quite rubbish at riding, but last year I did the Postling ride, and went out with the hunt for an hour with my boy. Both events were a dream come true

Hi MandyMoo, welcome to the forum and thank you for joining. Well done for making your dream a reality and buying your first horse for your birthday. I'm sure you are too modest about your ability as we know the Postling ride can be quite a high octane affair with horses galloping around all over the place.... with and without their riders!

HI MandyMoo, welcome! That's so great that you finally bought your own horse, we would sure love to see pics! I agree with Avril, I am sure you are being far too modest. Happy riding
