Parelli at the NEC

Did anyone go to the NEC last weekend to see the Parelli Celebration?

We went and althou the format was similar to that of last year we still came away full of tears and inspiration especially when on the sunday Lauren Barwick the para olmpic dressage gold medalist was there with her heart rendering tale, there wasnt a dry eye in the place,,,,

There were also savvy spotlights from some of the Parelli Professionals its totally amazing what can be achieved with the horses, and again everyone was in tears,,, totally fabulous...

Hi Lisa
Went to last years- But did not go this year although was tempted- It sounded brilliant- went to see Monty Roberts and Kelly Marks in Stafford- that was very interesting- the funniest thing I heard there was a woman ask Monty Roberts how she could get her horse to stand still and behave while she was pulling its mane- He replied-"Madam when you are next at the hairdressers I suggest you ask them to pull your hair out by the roots and see how long you stand still for!!!!"

My husband was in stitches!!!!

By the way we have now got Bella & Dolly tucked up in their stables at night as this wet weather has been so awful!! Thankfully Bella settled down well and loves her bed!!!

Hi Joy

I Bet your girls are grateful to be in, the weather has just been so awful and wet,, nothing nicer than a big hay net and a nice snug rug,, i love to see mine tucked up in bed at the end of the day...

We have moved yards again joy,, the horses couldnt settle being seperated and in turn that made me unsettled,,, we are in a very small yard now not far from home and the guys have there own field and much happier for it,,,,,phew....

Funny how people asked such questions,, if only they put themselves in the horses place,, answers would be clear very quickly,,,, good for monty!!!!
