How wonderful for you, Avril, to see one of your graduates going on to do such a worthwhile job. It would be fantastic if more owners of horses you have trained and sold (or just trained) could give you an update from time to time so you could produce a "Then and Now" online album showing photographic progress as they mature and settle in to their respective new homes or find new jobs to do! I always enjoy reading on the forum about how those who maintain contact are getting on.
(I don't think Millie was one of yours but I have eagerly looked forward to every update from Ange and am so glad the latest news is so positive.)

That's a great suggestion Dawn, in fact many of them do keep in contact, mostly via email, but an online album is definitely one step further. Perhaps the idea will catch on. We could build a dedicated page on the website for it. Getting back to Penny; I trained her 7/8 yrs ago. She's a Welsh cob of 14.1 hands, from memory I think she was 6yrs old when we sold her as a first pony. The child did very well with her over the years, hacking, PC and dressage, but is very much a teenager needing a bigger horse. She now has a warmblood x thoroughbred, a big step up, but Penny did her job so well that the transition has been most positive. Penny has a home for life within the Wormwood Organisation and has already proved to be a faultless star who is much admired.
No, Millie isn't one of ours and like you, we enjoy reading Ange's updates full of valuable info. Actually we have a Millie arriving at MSC on Saturday, she is also black, more about her in the next Newsletter which is going out on Sunday.

Hi - I'm in the process of catching up on lots of posts, so have only just seen this new one (I was drawn to it as my retired old girl is also a Penny).
Although my Millie isn't an MSC graduate, perhaps Avril does have a little to do with my buying her - I e-mailed and spoke with Avril about my previous horse, when I'd reached the point where neither she (the horse) nor I were able to make progress, and things were instead spiralling quickly downhill.
Some of what Avril said to me stayed with me when I was finally in a position to buy another horse ... and someone (??) was telling me subconsiously that Millie was the right horse, just from looking at her picture on her advert!
Cheers, Ange.
